Shubham of grade-7 reaches the finals of Braincafe Budding Scientist Contest

A perfect start to the New Year as our students brings laurels to CIS. Shubham of Grade 7 qualified for the Nationals by bagging first place at the State level round of BrainCafe Budding Scientist Contest. Also, Kabir of Grade 2 bagged third position at the State level round held on 4th January, 2014 at Ludhiana.

These kids reached there by competing with 8500 students at the Zonal level round and 200 students at the State level round. State level round for the North Zone was held at Ludhiana where kids presented their projects under 5 different categories with 40 students competing in each category.
Finals for the Braincafe Budding Scientist Contest 2013 were held at Mumbai on 18th January, 2014. Shubham Vashisht from Chitkara International School presented a ‘Wireless Intelligent Lamp’ working on the principle of solar energy and Wind energy under the theme ‘Natural Resources and Management”, competing 9 other state level champions in his category.
