Dr. Niyati Chitkara became the proud recipient of the ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ proffered to her by the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR)
“Children are human beings to whom respect is due, superior to us by reason of their innocence and of the greater possibilities of their future.” – Maria Montessori
It is an indisputable fact that children’s initial experiences influence their future growth remarkably. As little ones rely chiefly on the adults for guidance and nurturance, it remains our duty to ensure that their rights are realised and safeguarded under all circumstances. Furthermore, securing child rights is also imperative for the well-being and overall development of children. Reflecting upon the same, Chitkara International School stands delighted to announce that its accomplished Principal, Dr. Niyati Chitkara became the proud recipient of the ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ proffered to her by the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR). The certificate has been bestowed upon her for her unstinted cooperation towards the promotion of the needs and rights of children. Dr. Chitkara’s firm belief in the significance of inclusive, equitable and quality learning has been further exhibited through various activities and initiatives of the school. It remains important to mention here that previously, the school had been duly recognised and appreciated for its inclusive practices like ‘Partnership between School and ‘Twining Model- Sharing of Resources on Environment and Value Culture’ by the said commission.
The recent acknowledgement of Dr. Chitkara’s heartfelt efforts towards the cause of child development is truly a matter of great pride for the entire Chitkara fraternity. The school undoubtedly stands contented and energised at the sweet acknowledgement, and it shall continue to strive for the promotion and protection of children’s rights with pronounced enthusiasm and fervour!
