Friendship is one of the most significant things in a person’s life. It is about sharing happiness and sorrows, triumphs and downfalls, expectations and disappointments. Through the development of the sense of empathy, a friendship makes us better for the simple fact of making us more aware of each other. Keeping in view the significance of making friends in one’s life and to mark Friendship Day, the Office of School Counselling of Chitkara International School is all set to conduct a thoughtful session titled “This way to the Friend Land” from 3rd August to 5th August for the students of Chicklets and Nestling. The session will be helmed by School’s Special Educator cum School Counsellor, Ms Gayatri Batta wherein she will touch on the importance of making friends, how to be a good friend and how to inculcate interpersonal skills.
