THE PULSE— 2013

Chitkara International School students presented “The Pulse-2013” on August 03, 2013. The audience was mesmerized by the performance of the four houses – Brass Sounders, Zinc Thinkers, Copper Stoppers, and Steel Talkers. This interhouse dance competition paid a tribute to 100 years of Indian Cinema. The show ‘Box Office Bliss’ took the audience on a virtual tour of different eras of Bollywood. Elegant 60’s- Steel Talkers
Era of 60’s is called as the Golden era of Bollywood and celebrating the same, students danced to the tunes of melodious songs of 60’s and graced the stage with their talent.

Colorful 70’s-Brass Sounders
Era of 70’s can also be termed as the era of colors and students depicted the same on stage. As this period is remembered as the teen age of bollywood, students entertained the audience with their exuberant display of 70’s dancing style.

Dynamic 80’-Zinc Thinkers
Magical experience of disco on some fantastic tunes of 80’s was displayed on stage. Audience had a great time enjoying the exciting and vibrant performances of the era of 80’s.

Vibrant 90’s-Copper Stopper
It was the era where Pop and gloss culture really started pouring into masses. Students danced on the evergreen numbers of bollywood and set the stage on fire with their amazing performances.

The Pulse 2013 was a great success, with the overall winner’s trophy going to Copper Stoppers.
