Summer Exchange Programme

In partnership with our member institution, Government Model Senior Secondary school, Dhanas, the Summer Exchange Programme was initiated with the students of Grade 8 of both the schools.

Day 1 started with a welcome speech and Vandana. Students were taught about various Yoga Asnas and magic tricks .They also learnt how to make 3D masks. The 1st day was exciting and enriching .

Day 2 was full of excitement as students had a calligraphic session. Students also had a gala time as they celebrated the festival of Teej in their campus. Also, a prize distribution ceremony was held wherein the students of CIS were given prizes for the Mask Making Competition held on Day 1.

On Day 3 a workshop on Vedic Math by Mr.Anuj was organised for the students of grade 8 of both the schools to learn and sharpen their mathematical skills like faster calculations of square roots and how to find multiplies of three digit and four digit numbers .
Along with the workshop, a Heritage Exhibition was also arranged .The Heritage Exhibition showcased the currency of olden times, jewellery made of stones and coins which was used by the women of ancient times and various other things related to the golden era.

Day 4 was full of enthralment and excitement. Students enjoyed playing games in Bachpan Gully. Along with this, Generation Z Budding Scientists Science Exhibition wherein students of Chitkara International School displayed their models. To top it all, a prize distribution ceremony was also held for the students. Overall, this programme was a great learning experience for both the schools.
