Revision through Teaching | Explanatory Orientation Session
Highlighting the distinct linkage of teaching and learning, Revision through Teaching (RTT) is a unique pedagogical practice that allows students to step into the shoes of a teacher, and understand the various requirements of effective lesson delivery in the classroom. Also serving as a fruitful assessment tool, the practice essentially lets the students of a higher grade, say Grade 4, teach a certain topic to the students of a lower grade, say Grade 3. By doing so, the children not only acquire in-depth knowledge of the topic being taught, but they also gain inimitable confidence which proves to be helpful in the long term.
In light of the foregoing, Chitkara International School is organising an explanatory Orientation Session on ‘Revision Through Teaching’ on 23rd December 2020 from 11:00 am onwards, wherein the students of Chitkara International School will act as the facilitators of the session and will elucidate the RTT process to the stakeholders through intelligible descriptions and demonstrations.
The school looks forward to witnessing active participation of both students and parents in the RTT Orientation Session and sincerely hopes for the young ones to gain immensely from the same!
