“Kashish” The Fencing Superstar of CIS Honoured by President of India

Innovations, singing, acting, sports and a gamut of such talents, Chitkara International School’s fencing superstar “Kashish” was one of the 30 children from across India who got special recognition as President Pranab Mukherjee gave away the National Child Awards for Exceptional Achievement, 2015, in a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Kashish’s achievements are endless….to list a few…

• At the age of 10 she received a silver medal in the ‪#‎National Championship‬.
• The first Indian girl who bagged 4 gold medals in a single ‪‎fencing‬ tournament.
• Represented India twice already at International Level Competitions.
• Secured 7th rank in ‪#‎AsianJ unior and Cadet Fencing Championship‬, 2015 held in Abu Dhabi.
• Secured 4th rank in ‪#‎Commonwealth Games‬ held at South Africa….
