Exchange Programme

With great honour, we would like to share with all that Chitkara International School was one of the few schools that was selected by the #Education #Department, Chandigarh for doing an #exchange #programme with Government Model Senior Secondary School, Dhanas.

The main idea for this programme was to exchange the best practices of both schools with each other in #Academics and #Cocurricular #Activities. This programme was done with the students of Grade 7 of both schools. It would be a 5 day event.

The first day started with an Ice breaking activity where all students were divided into groups. They had to build a #story including the elements provided. At the end , each group had to present the story in front of the #audience . The students from the Government school and CIS collaborated and gave #excellent #presentations.

After this activity, there was a #Buddy #Teaching session, where we shared our teaching #methodology of #Concept #Map with all the students. The students participated #enthusiastically and were happy to learn this way.
At the end, they shared their experience and seemed #motivated.
