Ms. Monika Mukh’s (Librarian, Chitkara International School) paper on “Emerging Trends in Libraries” got selected to be published out of 220 entries received by Chandigarh Librarians’ Association. Her paper also bagged the first prize at the 3rd CLA National Conference on “Emerging Trends in Libraries” held on 16th October 2015 at Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45, Chandigarh. The Chandigarh Librarians’ Association (CLA) is a prestigious organization of librarians working in different institutions in Chandigarh. The Association has over 100 members on its rolls. The Association, every year, organizes different library events for professional development of librarians.The main objective of the Conference is to provide a platform for the stakeholders to share new concepts, emerging trends and technology applications, best practices, knowledge, experience, innovative models, and solutions, with a focus on promoting effective application of technology in libraries to provide quality services to the patrons.
