Chitkara International School, Chandigarh organises an engrossing and illuminating workshop on First-Aid Training in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society
Chitkara International School organised a workshop led by the Indian Red Cross Society, focusing on First-Aid Training. The said workshop catered to the proficient students of the School Health Brigade Team and Safety Club. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip these students with fundamental principles of providing initial medical assistance to those in need. This training encompassed essential knowledge and skills for aiding both sick and injured individuals. Furthermore, the Health Brigade and Safety Club members underwent comprehensive instruction in two critical areas: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This training aimed to empower them with life-saving techniques that can be employed in emergency situations.
Undeniably, by imparting these crucial skills, the workshop not only enhanced students’ abilities but also fortified their roles as responsible and capable members of the school community!
